These fish are typical on any given day on the lower Sacramento River. Some of these photos are from the Pit River, the upper Sacramento and Hat Creek. Different places fish better at different times.

Mar 18th....... The conditions were good the fishing was good and Fred and Brad took advanteage of the situation!

These guys were fun on the River and the toughest ask of the day was learning to use the camera.....LOL. We landed some nice spunky fish and lost a few really nice ones too! Below are the fish that decided to stay connected.

Spring Fly Fishing with Jim and Rick

March 18th....... It was a beautiful early spring day, clear and cool, and the conditions were good. Jim and Rick hit the water with enthusiasm.  We had a little trouble early on and although there were a few bites and hook ups it took just a bit of practice to get a few nicer fish into the net.

We landed a few small ones until the early afternoon and we landed these beautiful fish......

Winter on the lower Sac.....

Jason and Meme came up for a half day of drifting. It was their fist experience together fly fishing. J ason had some experience but this was Meme's first outing. Fishing was about average and after a little practice and a few missed fish both of them connected to a fish that stayed for the photo op!

It was a fun day on the river and there was a lot of wildilfe and waterfowl to see!

Here are the pics

Upper Sac.....early season

Feb 12th......  We are having a great winter season on the Upper Sac. There are some really big and energetic fish tucked into the shallow water. When you raise up on a wild 18 inch plus fish you will feel the electricity I'm talking about. They go absulutely berserk in the shallow rocky water slashing up and down stream jumping and splashing!

Bryan and Bill

Oct. 28th....... Bryan returns! This time Bill, Bryans brother-in-law, joined us. As usual Bryan's skill with a fly rod was rewarded several nice fish. Bill also tangled with several rambunctious 'Bows and we finally got one nice one to the net...

Bill payed this expertly in for the photo.

Bryan had several big ones on and to the net but this one, caught in the late evening, was a real thrill.

As you can see this dark 21 incher was healthy and well fed. He was aken in the riffle just about the Aqua Gold area.
