The lower Pit River

11/20... The lower Pit was producing yesterday. We released 8 fish over 17" with the largest fish pushing 20". We also released several other smaller fish from 12" to 16". You can see all the pics in the Pit River section in the photo area. There was a lot of wildlife including deer, a bald eagle and even a ringtail cat (very rare and too fast for the camera). The fishing in this area should remain excellent until the heavy winter rains wash it out.
