'Lady Luck' strikes again!

4/7............David and Elizabeth are new to california and fly fishing and it is always fun to take out an enthusiatic couple looking for adventure. There was some friendly competition between them and while David caught the most fish Elizabeth caught the big one....of course.

 

The day had several personalities from warm to cool and even a drop or two of rain. We had some warm warm sultry spells too and it seemed the the bugs just kept hatching. Dave had a hook-up on a PMD spinner but it threw the hook and while we did see a few fish on the rise they were tough and nymphing seemed to be the answer.
