Half day float.....

 

10/11...... Mike used a a beautul z-axis 10' 6wt. that he had just built and it served him well today. It is a beautiful casting tool that mended with ease and played the fish well also. We started off a bit slow then we switched flies and then the action started. The micro may was the ticket this day with the exception of one that took a bead head birds nest. Mike is the consumate 'catch and release' fisherman and hesitated to take his fish out of the water for the usual photo op (he jad many opportunities). He did consent to the one you see pictured here. Mike is a good caster and fisherman and his skill paid off.
