Charlie and Ken

5/9..... The lower Sac was a bit windy and tough for Charlie and Ken. The luck seemed to find the front of the boat. Ken definately had the 'hot hand' and landed some beauties. This football shown below was a tough cunstomer and we got him just upstream of the Cypress St bridge in the fast water and it was a good fight. This was one girthy fish and he did not come to the net easy!

 

The afternoon was better than the morning as the wind laid down and the fish began to cooperate.  Ken was definately rewarded for his consistant casting. Both Ken and Charlie are good fishermen but the curse of the 'back of the boat' was realized today. It was fun day and we had a good time exchanging fishing stories.
