Andrew and his Dad, Brian.

10/13.....Andrew had such a great day on his previous trip he brought his Dad along for another trip. As fate would have it, it was, of course, a tough day on the river. Even though it was a crowded Saturday, we hooked enough fish to make it a good day but just couldn't seem to get them into the net. This was Brian's first time fly fishing and while we did get him into fish, dealing with manual fly tackle was a challenge. After practicing on several fish Brian was able to land this beauty just below the #44 bridge.
This one hit an orange bead just below some holding salmon. I sure he was surprised:-)! The water was fast so Brian played him down and we netted and released him. We worked hard for that fish and there was a collective sigh as the net slipped under this beautiful fat 'bow.
Brain and Andrew were good sports and the weather was perfect and we enjoyed the day as always. It is always fun to sher ther river and a few fish with great people!
